Old Court Wedding Photography, Strangford
Ciara and Maurice's wedding at The Old Court Wedding Company in Strangford was a complete joy.
Old Court sits on the shores of Strangford Lough within a private estate - a 17th century chapel, rambling gardens rolling down to the water, and one of the most beautiful settings in County Down.
It holds a very special place for us personally too. Claire's great-great-grandfather worked here building boats in the late 19th century, and the boathouse where he spent his days is now a beautiful bridal suite. We have a great collection of family photographs from those years - and Sian and Peter from Old Court were kind enough to welcome Claire's grandad and our kids along, share stories about the history of the place, and connect the threads together. But back to Ciara and Maurice's day. It was honestly the best of times. The brief was relaxed, candid, documentary wedding photography on film and digital - exactly our favourite way to work. No fuss, no posing, just real moments as they happened. So much laughter, so much joy, and - and even some blue sky!
Huge congratulations to Ciara and Maurice. We couldn't have loved this day more.
