We're not into the idea of perfect fairytale weddings. We prefer them messy and real. But I have to say, there was something quite magical about Lucy & Sean's wedding in the South of France. I think it was something to do with being in the warmest of company, in the most beautiful of settings, on what felt like the starriest night of the summer.

This was one of those weddings where it feels like you're with old friends. Sean & Lucy are pretty much the soundest people you could ever meet. You can see it in the photos. But I'm gushing now. Suffice to say - top wedding, top venue! It was in Chateau de Lacoste - you should check it out for all your French chateau needs!

What a privilege it was to second shoot for our good friend Tomasz Wagner earlier this year.  And Alaa & Issam’s wedding is definitely one to remember... An amazing mix of Saudi Arabian, Yemeni and Moroccan traditions. All in the Beldi Country Club, a rustic rose farm in Marrakech. With ace wedding planners Boutique Souk at the helm (creative legends who happen to originate from Ireland - just sayin!).

I love the colour and movement in these photos. This was the first time I've been a second shooter since the very beginning of TML. And it was brilliantly freeing to be able to shoot creatively and playfully, safe in the knowledge that Tomasz was doing the heavy lifting! Ah this wedding... the photos take me right back to a perfect Parisian summer. Strolling through le Marais with Sophie & David, eating and drinking our way through their favourite spots in the city, the light in the church of Saint-Merri stopping me in my tracks, the wonder of the reception at the disused monastery, le Couvent des Récollets. Our airbnb host was even a clown for pete's sake... 

This was our first Paris wedding and it's hard to imagine a better one. Sophie and David were all about their guests having a good time. We love that about our couples. It's never just all about them. A good time doesn't even begin to cover it though. Their wedding was a glorious riot of colour, passion and mischief.
